Week 9 Reading Reflection
- What was the biggest surprise for you in the reading? In other words, what did you read that stood out the most as different from your expectations?
I was most surprised that I could not find in the
readings of all the different survey research models a percentage or number of
actual people that you could turn into paying customers for your product or
services. I noticed it spoke about response rates, but not actual sales.
- Identify at least one part of the reading that was confusing to you.
I was really confused about pricing strategy checklist. How
does a ban new entrepreneur even know how to do all these different steps
during the life cycle of their products?
- If you were able to ask two questions to the author, what would you ask? Why?
- Where or how does a new business owner ever determine or find out all of the information needed about consumer characteristics?
- Who actually came up with the personal characteristic attributes? Are there other attributes identified that could help you make some marketing decisions that could benefit your business?
- Was there anything you think the author was wrong about? Where do you disagree with what she or he said? How?
I didn’t really see anything that I disagreed with, but I
was amazed about how complex hitting the right marketing mix is so crucial to
having a successful business.
