Hi James; I like the business you chose to analyze. I really liked how you had the entrepreneur in such a casual environment, and that she allowed you to share the Facebook analytics she works with. With this, it is evident that she is taking advantage of today's day and age globalization. I see also that although she described her clientele a little vaguely, those you interviews seem to fit perfectly with what she said. I really appreciate how you asked a wide variety of questions to Tanya and to all the people that you interviewed. You really analyzed each customer's particular needs and the reasons why they prefer shopping with Tanya over typical retail stores. I love that she gave you access to the facebook demographics and that you included that here. She really knows who her target group is and that is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I really liked your interview with Tanya. She seems like she knows exactly what her customers’ needs are as well as how best to reach out to those customers. What she described are exactly the needs that the customers you interviewed seem to be looking for. They liked her ability to be able to customize their needs which is a plus when you are trying to sell home décor.
I really like your 80 20 post. It is very well done and I am glad you had videos on every interview. The owner, Tanya, was very informed about her customer base and seemed to utilize her knowledge well, its great you even had the statical printout of her customer data. Tanya is clearly a great entrepreneur, and uses the methods we've talked about in class. Great Job!
