Elevator Pitch No.2

Elevator Pitch No.2

I guess the most important feedback to me was the fact that even though some of the surfers thought using my service would kind of cheating because it eliminated paddling most of them would still use the service. This was very important to me as a lot of surfers would say “if you can’t paddle out, then you shouldn’t be out” What that really means is don’t crowd the line up.

I guess the feedback that was most surprising was why the demographics of surfers is relevant to potential investors. However, I think that was a pretty good question that I addressed in my second pitch. To answer that question, I addressed the fact that knowledge of my target market would let me know if my services were affordable.

Based on the feedback I received, I used my second pitch to build on the first pitch and answered some of the questions that came up in the first interviews.

  1. Hey James!
I think that your idea is very creative. You seem to be very passionate about your idea, but you also seem to have done extensive research on how to implement the idea. Not only have you decided who your best target audience is, but you know how to effectively reach them. I enjoyed listening to your pitch, and I think that surfing enthusiasts would be very interested.
I did my elevator pitch on a way to improve UF's campus. If you're interested or would like to offer some feedback, check out my blog post at http://mbvandepol.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-2.html

  4. Hello James, I enjoyed watching your elevator pitch. The way you dressed up, the suitable background and fluency speaking made your pitch professional and reliable of your idea. I never tried to go surfing before, but I think your idea is creative and works for the target customers you aimed for. It is very specific and I want to know this service more.
