Introduction

Hello classmates,

My name James Farris and I am originally from Chattanooga Tennessee. I moved to Panama City Florida in 1987 after vacationing there for many years. I met my wife in Panama City, got married we have three children and I plan on never leaving the Sunshine state. I am majoring in Business Administration and am currently a junior in my studies. I have held several different positions with my current employer starting as an outside sales account manager to sales manager before moving into the position of General Manager over all of operations. I work for a large energy company in the state of Florida. I would like to keep on advancing to other positions within our company. I have had the opportunity to do several very different things at the same company. The always changing dynamics of our company keeps things interesting. I have had the privilege to do quite a bit of traveling in the country and abroad. One of our most amazing trips brought us to Alaska. Alaska is probably the most beautiful place I have ever traveled. We experienced black bears up close and personal. I had the opportunity to go on a whale watching tour as well as spending time exploring glaciers. Last year we were able to spend a good amount of time in England, France, Scotland and Whales. However, my most meaningful travel takes me to Haiti each summer. We are fortunate enough to be able to work in Haiti on mission trips. I helped construct and build a safe and sound roof for an orphanage that we help support in Haiti.
